Updated entry regulations regarding the Covid-19 pandemics for travelers to Türkiye, which are valid as of 3 March 2022 is as follows:

1. Passengers who submit the proof of 2 doses of vaccination (listed by WHO or Türkiye for emergency use) (1 dose for Johnson & Johnson) provided that the last dose was at least 14 days before arrival and/or a proof of recovery from Covid-19 within the last 6 months starting from the 28th day of the first positive PCR test result or PCR test report with negative result at most 72 hours or a rapid antigen test report with negative result at most 48 hours will be exempted from quarantine.

2. These requirements are not applicable to transit and/or transfer passengers.

3. There will be no PCR requirement and quarantine for the crew.

4. Passengers aged under 12 are exempted from PCR/antigen test report and vaccine certificate application on entry to Republic of Türkiye.

5. Documents such as vaccine certificate, PCR/antigen test result will be checked by airline companies before travel and passengers without the document will not be accepted to the travel, the responsibility arising due to the accepting of non-certified persons will be compensated by the airline companies.

6. No Covid-19 related documents will be requested from those crossing the Turkish borders via land, sea and railway travel.

7. There is no obligation to use masks in open areas and closed areas where social distance is possible. The use of masks is obligatory in closed areas where social distance among people cannot be ensured and in public transportation.

8. HES code application has been terminated.

9. Except for those who are showing symptoms, the requirement to submit a negative PCR test result while entering Türkiye via air travel for unvaccinated or incompletely vaccinated persons or for those who have not had the disease in the last 180 days has ended.
