Press Release Regarding the Bomb Attack in Abuja, the Capital City of Nigeria

We are deeply saddened by the terrorist attack perpetrated yesterday (May 1) in a bus station in Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria, killing and injuring many people. We strongly condemn this merciless attack. We express our condolences and wish fortitude to the families of the deceased and hope for a speedy recovery of the injured.
We believe that the people of Nigeria will act in unity and solidarity against the acts of terror aiming at disrupting the peace and security environment in the country and hope that the recently escalating acts of violence will come to an end without delay.
